Front of House Design, founded in 2015, is an Interior Design practice based out of Los Angeles. We can help you realize your vision of a new or existing home or commercial space. We offer turn-key interior design services, including furnishings and interior architectural elements, and hourly consultations to improve your existing space.

From the moment you walk in the door, the story of your space begins. Front of House Design strives to create thoughtful interiors, with a focus on natural materials and well-crafted furniture. The spaces are curated for the client’s needs, such as intimacy, functionality, rest, energy, or inspiration. Connection to the past is important; antique or vintage pieces ground the design and add character to our modern world.

FULL-SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN
We work with you from the beginning stages of planning and design, to construction supervision, through to project completion including furniture installation.

We'll meet you at the jobsite to discuss project goals, address your needs, and answer questions. Personalizing our approach starts with understanding the space and meeting you in person.

Programming is the phase of information gathering. We review the existing site conditions or architectural plans and design goals to put together a finalized scope of work and design concept.

After the preliminary concept is approved, we begin developing it into a solidified design. The floor plan is finalized, and elevations of walls are completed to communicate the concept, built-in designs and details. Selections are made for materials, fixtures, finishes, and furnishings.

FULL-SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN
We work with you from the beginning stages of planning and design, to construction supervision, through to project completion including furniture installation.

Before construction begins, we create Interior Design construction documents, suitable for city permitting, to communicate the design. Specifications are solidified for materials, furnishings, and fixtures and purchasing begins.

We are there for you every step of the way. We develop a close relationship with the General Contractor and Sub-Contractors to ensure every design detail is met.

After the construction is complete, we are ready to install the furniture and final touches. The furniture has been safely stored in a local warehouse and brought in for installation at one time. We will ensure all the details are correct and ready for you to move in. This is when the house becomes your home.

PARTIAL REMODEL
For someone looking to update to their Kitchen, Bath or other specific area of their home or business. FOH still delivers the same level of full-service design but more streamlined for clients looking to complete areas in phases.

HOURLY CONSULTING
No Matter where you are, FOH is available to work with you. We offer consulting packages, starting at 20 hours to advise you on specific areas of your home or business. This is a great option for someone who wants to be more hands on with purchasing and installation.
